What will this Blog be about:

This blog will be dedicated to educating the public about mental health and psychiatry as well as providing a forum for discussion by all people interested in the mental health topics which will be covered. Current topics and important basic issues will be presented and discussed. Evidence based research as well as Dr. Blumenfield’s own opinions will be offered. Other experts will be interviewed at various times. Comments and questions are welcome. These may include clinical questions which may be responded to in general terms. A blog such as this should not be a forum for individual persons getting specific advice or therapy as that should only occur after a personal evaluation by a mental health professional
